Life happens fast! Before you realize it, something else is changing. Or, maybe nothing is changing, but time is passing. Because life is unpredictable, it is important to cease special moments.
Here is where it gets complicated…it’s not always easy to determine what moments should be considered special unless of course it’s a birthday, anniversary, milestone of some sort, or a promotion. We get those clues very easily.
The beauty in determining what’s special is up to you! That’s right! It’s completely up to you.
You get to say who, what, when and where makes a moment special. My challenge to you today is to become more random and more spontaneous in creating special moments – why not?
Whether it’s a phone call to invite someone out for a walk. An unscheduled day at the park or beach, or maybe a cookout simply because the weather is nice. Better yet, a walk along a beautiful scenic landscape with others or alone, a day visiting different fruit stands in your neighborhood to compare peaches, or trying to cook a new dish with ingredients you can’t pronounce! Why not?
The ‘why not’ question has been coming up a lot lately and it’s connected with living, doing, trying, and being. It’s associated with freedom and spontaneity.
Enjoy both what is familiar and what’s unfamiliar simply because you can.
After all…why not?
